On May 6, 2011, Queens Box 3028 was transmitted for a fire in a private dwelling. A second source came in for a report of a person trapped. Engine 259 and Ladder 128 reported heavy smoke in the distance prior to arrival. 259 arrived first due and transmitted the 10-75 for a confirmed working fire. The person that was reported trapped self-evacuated and did not sustain life-threatening injuries.
