Brooklyn 22-816; February 12, 2007 Galleries

Brooklyn 22-0816 (02/12/07) : In the Brownsville - Bushwick section of Brooklyn, numerous calls were being received by the Brooklyn Fire Central Office for a fire on Pilling Street between Bushwick Avenue and Broadway. Due to the amount of calls, 4 Engines, 2 Trucks, Rescue 2, Squad 252 and Battalion 37 were assigned. A large column of smoke was visible for the units prior to their arrival. The fire was located on two floors of this three story frame flat room multiple dwelling. There were early reports of people trapped. Companies made an aggressive interior attack keeping the majority of the fire to one building. There was however some minor extension. A great job by all companies. 

Shortly after this job went probably will hold, a 10-75 was transmitted a short distance away just over the Brookyn-Queens border on Irving Avenue and Cooper Street.
