Brooklyn 22-1798; January 28, 2007 Galleries

Brooklyn 22-1798 (01/28/07) : On Sunday January 28, 2007, snow flurries were coming down as Brooklyn box 1798 was transmitted for a report of a fire in a vacant building at 398 Shepard Avenue near Pitkin Avenue in East New York. First due companies were confronted with an advanced fire condition in the two story vacant frame building. An additional engine and truck were special called. The additional truck was requested to be a Tower Ladder (120). FDNY members were ordered to stay out of the building because of the heavy fire and because of the building's weakened condition. Two TLs were used as well as several handlines.
