Manhattan 33-1642 (February 16, 2003) : As NYC was in its early stages of a major winter storm, Engine 80 & Ladder 23 responded first due for a report of a fire in an occupied building with reports of people trapped on Convent Avenue & West 149 Street. Members were greeted with a heavy fire volume of fire on the 2nd floor of a 4 story brownstone. Two civilians jumped from the building prior to FDNY arrival.
